Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and former supermodel. Known for her elegant beauty her endurance in the competitive film industry reflects her skills and talent as performer. As a young model, she started in the 70s. Then she became a household name in the modeling industry. After completing her acting studies, Russo began her modeling career in Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on screen in ABCs Sable drama in 1987, playing Eden Kendell. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her first movie Major League. Her determination earned her the respect of the critics, who initially were unsure about her abilities as an actress. Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's top female athletes. She started her professional career as an amateur athlete taking part in numerous regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And then she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. Since her entry into the UFC, she has become a household name due to her success in and out of the octagon. Namajunas was a Lithuanian who immigrated to the United States. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in sports such as basketball and kickboxing while growing to be a teenager. Her first appearance in professional competition aged 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships in which she managed to win two bouts by submission. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was accepted into the strawweight division of UFC in December 2014 when Rose was only 22. Rose was a high-flyer but her lows as well throughout her career but always came to the top. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Title as well as the title of the title of Fighter of the Night. It was the very first time a woman competed against a major promotion in a title fight.
